It definitely rates high to us and left a positive impression on us. The levels are just fine on the UN75J6300 as we didn’t see any reason to call it “in the middle” or worse. Of course, as always you will want to disable “Auto Motion Plus” in the settings menu if you aren’t a fan of the “Soap opera effect”.īlack levels aren’t as pleasing as a 4K TV, but then again a 4K TV is going to run you a lot more at this size. The colors are vibrant and pleasing and the image detail is right where you want it. Picture quality is about as good as it gets for a 1080p TV. There isn’t any noticeable (outside of the normal) glare on the screen when we exposed it to direct sunlight or sharp lights at multiple angles, which is always a plus. It also looks great mounted flat against the wall and two people can complete the job easily without strain. Most quality wall mounts of this size typically support 90lbs+. If you would rather opt out of using the stand for mounting it on the wall instead, it’s thin profile is perfect and it weighs less than 70lbs, making it easy to find a wall mount for. Be careful when bringing it up right, not to put any pressure on the legs from an angle (common sense kind of stuff). This will allow for an adequate position and space for screwing them to the TV (two screws per leg). The best form of installing them in our opinion would be to lay the TV flat on a large soft surface such as a bed, with the bottom of the TV at the edge. The legs are plastic, so you won’t want to get too crazy with them, but they do seem to support the TV’s weight just fine. The stand features two feet, chrome in color. A shiny black frame with a slight bevel and amazingly thin profile for how large the screen is. The design of the UN75J6300, is quite typical of Samsung. In the case of Samsung’s 75-inch, it appears to be the same story mixed with a big screen that works great for movies and games. This is our favorite, no that is our favorite…oh no, they all look the same now! This is good as it means you have to try hard to buy something that is going to disappoint you. It appears 1080p TVs have reached the point where every high end model looks great. Why limit yourself to the average 50-60-inch TV when you can go BIG? Assuming you have the space for it of course as going bigger typically means you have a pretty big living room to be able to sit far enough from it. Another monster of a TV with plenty to offer and at the moment, it’s a few dollars below $2,000. Taking a step back from 4K TVs and towards really big TVs for a lower price, we decided to give Samsung’s latest 75-inch 1080p TV (model UN75J6300) a shot.
